Our friends saw the cat get hit by the car, driver didn't stop. They moved cat to side of the road and called us.
Myself and my partner drove to the location, found cat and took it to police station. Their id chip scanner didn't work so we were told to take the cat back and put it back where he/she was found. Vets aren't open today and I felt really awful about putting the cat back. Just want owners to be informed.
Location: Whapload Road, Lowestoft - right opposite M and R. Cat is laying on patch of grass, on top of a puppy pad and newspaper.
Cat looks well cared for.
