Thanks both.

I think Whitstable might be a bit far - just thinking of the girls, like most cats they get stressed in the car. It looks really nice on the website though.

Michelle, I will PM you soon - what's your cattery called?

I am the manager of a cattery in Bexley Kent (about 20mins from Sevenoaks)
The cattery is owned by 2 vets and I've just done the FAB cattery managers course

PM if you are interested x

Is outskirts of Whitstable too far? - I know Sharn who owns Kopperkins cattery. She is actually a branch fosterer and has dedicated 2 of her pens to CP (doesn't charge us)

http://www.kopperkins.co.uk/

She doesn't belong to FAB as she decided it was too expensive for how much she makes.

I can vouch for how much she dotes on the cats. She is often out with them at midnight. I saw the way she was with a long-term pair (owner was in care) and it made my eyes a bit misty  :shy:

I have never actually used a cattery  :shy:

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Can anyone recommend a good boarding cattery in Kent (within easy reach of Sevenoaks)? The only one I've heard of is Nizels (which looks nice on their website but I'd rather have a personal recommendation). Their daily rate for two cats is £13 - not sure if this is pricey or not, it's a long time since I've used a cattery.

No rush, I'm just thinking about booking a holiday in February/March.
