Moydrum is a ginger cat
Who isn’t very slim
He likes to think he isn’t fat
Just full up to the rim.
An FIV cat very much at ease
With all that is around him
He copes well with Diabetes
But daily has insulin.
Then there is Ellie, her legs are long
Her life has been pretty sad
Humans did her an awful wrong
They hurt her pretty bad
They hit her face and broke her jaw
And left her lying for dead
Kerrie and Paul took her to the vet
We’ll wire her jaws he said.
She’s ok now and wants a home
With people who will love and care
Though FIV she can still sort of roam
But your home she would love to share.
Oh poor Siamese Rooney a gorgeous boy
suffered a broken rib
when someone kicked him like a toy
Oh the things these people did.
He needs a lot of love and care
To recover the trauma he's had
But your life he would love to share
This would make him so happy not sad
On to Pooh, what a naggy lad
He’s very feral and fights
With cats and DOGS he’s pretty bad
And in the house he hangs from the lights.
He needs a secluded farm type home
Or an owner who has a cat pen
Aggressive FIV, he mustn’t roam
As it’s not IF he fights, it’s WHEN!
The other ferals are too scared to come out
They hide when strangers come
You have to sneak up and certainly not shout
For humans they will shun
Now we have kittens who arrived in a box
Pretty much all black cats
One is different he has white socks
and hangs in the pen like a bat
A 6mth old new arrival only has one eye
Lovable black and white boy
He’s so cute I cannot deny
Then there’s a bunny with lovely fur
She too has her fears
She's desperate for someone to love her
And would love you to stroke her long ears
Pretty thin when she first arrived at
the rescue which is Kerrie and Pauls home
Now she’s has a stature like Moydrum the cat
With all the love and affection she’s shown
So many animals come through this place
Each with a story to tell
Keeping it all going is like spinning plates
Caring and getting them well
So if in your home there is an empty chair
Food and a fire that is warm
And you need a furry friend who will care
Now you know where to get one from!
