I gave up looking for a cat tree as I couldn't find a sturdy one with a large enough hidey hole without having the tree custom made. Dave does seem rather comfortable ...

Some more pics so you can see he does fit in the house easily, which is a rarity for houses on scratchers. I'd definitely recommend this for the larger cat, he loves it

is a large cat by normal standards? If so I could be persuaded to purchase that scratcher for Noah. Although that would mean surgically separating him from my kingsize bed (heated underblanket on overnight setting 24/7

).

I really like it, often the snuggle spots in them are a bit too snug for Dave, him being a big boy but the bed bit is plenty big enough

You can't see from this pic but the scratchy bit you can see at the side goes up in a wave over the snug so good for vertical and horizontal scratchers and it's that really snuggly soft plush stuff it's made from so even I like giving it a little rub

Dave has to test every item that comes into the flat purchased for him and Chilli. I don't understand those that have things ignored, nothing I have ever bought has been completely ignored!

Anyway, the new cat scratcher arrived to day and Dave has been all over it since and has spent most of the evening snoozing in the den part.
