I can totally relate to that and my cat Sasa has been here over 5 years now and cant get close to her and so would love that too happen  ;D

awww I can totally relate to that.. My first cat, Polo, was very anti-social (not in a nasty way, he just wasn't  bothered about human contact). Then one day, quite a few years later, he jumped up onto my lap and got all snuggly!! I was so elated, I too didn't move until he did. I was even scared to sneeze or change channel with the remote in case the slightest movement disturbed him  :evillaugh:

Enjoy the moment and here's to many more cosy lap cuddles! ;D

Just thought i'd share my news with you guys....
I've had Snooch now for just over 3 yrs & she has never been a lap cat..infact no physical contact at all apart from when she'd curl up next to us in bed..but now she has just thrown herself on to my lap  :wow:..i'm so excited & happy..however i am slowly getting a dead leg but i wont move until she does...mmmm hope i dont need a wee soon :rofl:
