Gillian having 2 unruly delinquents here in Charlie and Echo I leave kitten dry down as a free feed and they get wet 4 times a day and steal adult food whenever they think they are still hungry

Why is it they think adult food is so much better than theirs

I'm doing the same as Liz, kitten dry down all the time and 4 wet food meals a day plus whatever adult she can pinch when Hobbes isn't looking

I have no experience but would imagine that with small but growing animals, little & often is the way to go. I googled and one site said 4 to 5 meals a day for 3-6 months.

They should be on 4 meals, but I would say this is normal, especially as you dont know their background, they might not be used to as much food.
Please spay your cat

Would do the meals into 4 meals but they will more than likely velvrose themselves to your legs still and this is normal kitten behaviour and is what I nickname "Kitten Determination"

These pesky kittens I'm fostering  :evillaugh: reckoned to be about 12 wks old, they've recently been wormed (Milbemax). Is it normal for kittens this age to act like they've never been fed every time I walk into the room?  I can barely get the tin open without them velcro'ing themselves to my legs! they really are very unruly - I'm just not used to kittens LOL! .... :tired:

I'm feeding them 3 times a day, do you think thats enough or should I make it 4 times?
