no not someone I know Julie.

We get a lot of phone calls from all over the UK at all times of day or night from people looking for advice who don't realise we're in Scotland.  I could've just passed him on again but he does sound at the end of his tether and he has phoned round and round with no joy.

From what I can gather he is looking for ideally a rescue to take the little ones he's not looking at getting them back he's just struggling as he is trying to bottle feed and getting nowhere and trying to get them to take solids on vets advice and the little ones were choking yesterday.  He's just scared they are going to die if he doesn't get experienced help.

I'm pretty good at spotting those chancing their arm and he doesn't strike me as one hence I have posted this. ;)

I take it this is someone you know or else why would he call a rescue in Scotland if he lives in Essex? What is the plan for these kittens when weaned?  :shify: Is he wanting them rehomed as well?  :shy:

I can ask around down here but need more background info.

I've just taken a phone call from a man down in Ilford Essex who is desperate for help after the death of his female cat this morning who had 6 4 week old kittens.

Kittens not yet weaned and he is struggling to cope with them despite advice from the vet he doesn't have any practical experience at all.

His wife is also very ill and in and out of hospital.

Do we have any rescue's on here that are in his area or reachable that could help by taking the 6 little ones.

We would happily take them but with us in Scotland and them in Essex we couldn't be further apart!!

Please contact me with any info and I will relay to the gentleman.

thanks guys -
