Noah has three meals per carton of Bozita pate and he is a large (6.5kg) indoor male. Servings of raw are smaller but servings of other commercial wet foods are larger.
:'( My beautiful Noah rescued 13/02/09, adopted 11/10/09, taken 11/02/11 :'( You deserved so much more.

my 5 get a carton of Bozita between them  each morning and night.      Plus they get a feed of raw on an evening.       Origen biscuits are also down during the day.

Four meals per carton here too. I'm like you DandC, no way can I leave dry down, Dave would just eat continuously if I did that, he already finishes off whatever Chilli leaves so is a little porky but maintains a steady weight so I'll carry on as I am!

My two get their dry in the morning, their wet for dinner and a sprinkling of dry before bed.

I consider a box to be 4 servings, although they are only about 370g so sometimes I misjudge it when I'm doling out and the carton runs out before we've got 4 servings out of it!  Bozita is high meat but it's also lean so not as many calories as a fattier food.  I'd go with the 80-100g per serving option.

I would love to leave dry biscuits down for my two but they are both greedy bu***rs (or well Dexter is)  :evillaugh: and he would polish everything off in one sitting if I let him! I will continue to feed them as normal (probably is about 1/4 each per meal) for now and see how they go, better just watch for Dexter polishing off Cartmans leftovers.

I have two cats and feed them 1/4 carton each per meal, so use one carton a day. A carton is 370g, a quarter is 92.5g whereas a regular pouch like Felix is 100g so in effect they get a pouch each at breakfast and a pouch each for dinner.

I also leave a bowl of the premium Pets at Home dry down 24/7 so they can munch on biccies if they're hungry, they're both in peak condition and have been fed this combination since they were about 6 months old (they're 3 1/2 now).

Question about Bozita
« Reply #1 on: August 20, 2010, 10:43:26 AM »
I have bought Dexter and Cartman some Bozita Chunks in Jelly, and they love it  :Luv2: They have previously been eating hi-life or sheeba but seemed to 'take it or leave it' depending on the mood  :tired: However now that I have gradually introduced them to Bozita and weaned them off the other how much should I feed them off the Bozita?

I feed them a mix of Orijen dry biscuits with some Botiza twice a day but the Botiza seems soooooo meaty that I am worried that I may be feeding too much???? Dexter loves it so much that he will polish anything off in site and dont want him getting to porky! For all you who use Bozita in the tetra pack how much do you feed/how long does one carton last!

Thanks
Abbie
