Check out the local rescues on CatChat that JaneyK has linked for you. 

If you think your resources could stretch to taking in foster cats, or maybe help a Mum and her young kittens who are too small to be adopted yet, I'm sure that would mean even more to your local rescue, as everyone is choc solid at them moment, and no-one likes turning away the needy. 

Of course whatever you decide you'll get a mountain of support on here.
