Hi All
I have volunteered to drop you all a line on behalf of Ron, as he keeps saying how much he wants to go on 'Purrs' but he really hasnt had the time for quite a while now. Since winning a shed, which has now been made into a small pen housing four cats, he has had to deal with cat flu, the annual influx of mums and kittens and currently has 65 cats in the pen. Some cats with health problems needing 1 on 1 care with drops/meds etc so he really is going nearly 24/7.
You all know how much of a softy he is when it comes to cats, so there are
more indoors!
Since the loss of Tom Tom; who was at one time the only male cat in the house, and kept things in check, Ron has now got a big gorgeous adorable softy of a ginger tom called Pete and two Sammys!! Sammy who you might remember had the serious illness where he swelled up double in size and was near deaths door! As you can see in the photo he is a large cat but he really is a scaredy cat and he's a bit like the Lion out of The Wizard of Oz, lacks courage. The other Sammy spends most of his day sleeping on Ron’s bed and we don’t have a really good photo of him, but he is lovely and keeps himself to himself. Pete is very passive and loves tummy tickles and he is a really big softy and very good with kittens and other cats.
Hope you have enjoyed reading Ron’s update. He wishes he could have had the time to write it himself and promises to come onto Purrs soon.
Kind regards
Fiona (volunteer) on behalf of Ron & Cats
P.S I can't fit all photos on this post, so will post just photos in a new one
