Hi tan,
For the moment she still has it and is guarding it with her life!! After seeing the look on her face when I found it I'd love to find a couple of emergency replacements incase it happens again!!  ;D

No idea but Willow was the same with a little mousie. She used to carry it up the stairs in her mouth an make weird noises. She never did it with anything else. Every now & then it disappeared. It was a white one with sort of strings hanging off - they don't sell them on their own; they were part of the xmas stocking. I bought another stocking just for the mouse as none of them would eat the dry fish strips or catnip biscuits and the balls were hard with bells in - the cats hated them as much as I did  :evillaugh: - the only other thing she liked was the catnip drops which I bought her anyway. I tried giving her the new mouse but she wasn't interested. After a while, she peed on it so I binned it. The old one turned up again and she carried on doing her stuff with it. It disappeared again a few months before she died.  :( - I found it again a few weeks after. It is in the little china memory box. Another thing she always loved was a piece of stretchy string that was on a box of xmas cards. She took it off the box herself originally. She always loved it - that is also in the box.

Hi
The ball she loves is black stretchy, glittery fabric.  Its kind of rough to touch or at least not as smooth as a lot of toy balls are.  I don't think it's stuffed with catnip, probably just ordinary stuffing!!  Sorry I'm not very good at this!!  :( :(
Any ideas or information gratefully received!

She does sound adorable hun and i bet you melted at the sight of her joy with her lost ball! Bless her  ;D
It's one the the best things to see your pets happy and content  :Luv: :Luv:  Bit like the 5 minutes peace you get after giving young nephews some sweets!!  :evillaugh:

Can ya describe the texture and size for her little black ball. Was it a soft pom pom type with catnip?

Will try and post pics tomorrow, she's guarding it with her life at the moment!!
I can't find them anywhere else!! It came in a pack of 4 from PAH, from memory, I think the others were a white ping pong type ball, a soft kinda zebra print pattern ball, a hard half black half white one and the soft black ball ~ favourite of all time.  If anyone has seen them anywhere else I'd be eternally grateful for the info!!!  ;D

Awww what a lovely story  :Luv: I'm so glad it was found.

Those little balls do get everywhere though don't they! when we first adopted Schui he loved them but would start off with loads then by the end of the day they'd all done under and around furniture  :evillaugh:

I hope Maizie doesn't lose it again before you can track down some more

I got new settess recently and thought that I would find the foam 'bullets' under there as they're definitely not anywhere else in the house. Guess what... they weren't there  :shify: I've left the feet off the new ones so no more toy hunting under there though  :evillaugh:

One thing though....

Maizie has been with us for 14 months now, for the first 6 her absolute favourite toy was a soft black ball from PAH. However before Xmas it just disappeared, I literally searched everywhere for it emptying each room one by one, couldn't find it. I returned to PAH for a replacement and naturally they didn't stock them anymore. Then commences the search of every pet shop in the city and every online retailer I could find, no luck. Despite the fact I bought about 20 similar replacements none were the same and she knew it!!! Today I moved the chest of draws in the bedroom and there it was, I've no idea how it got there because the drawers were right up against the wall!! The look of joy on her little face when she saw it was found was amazing, she clearly remembers it and has been waiting all this time for the stupid human to find it! Now she's carrying it everywhere in her mouth and when she lays down she tucks the ball under her tummy as though she's afraid it'll be taken away! The look of joy at the sight of her toy was indescribable and to see that look has literally made my day!!  ;D
