Is this not the seller that has advertised a kitten for free BUT IT HAS TO GO WITHIN THE HOUR OR OTHERWISE IT COSTS £40?  I think it's a selling scam to entice people to contact him, he really wants £40 for the kitten(s).

I wouldn't be surprised if it turns out that the kitten doesn't actually exist....  There are a LOT of scams going on for kittens on this site in Edinburgh as kittens are so sought after and, then again, you have the idiots that keep breeding their moggies to gain cash from the kittens.  They shouldn't be encouraged and this site should be considering a ban on the sale of pets/livestock.

Hopefully Shona's brother went with her.

Well done Shona

Sarah at Sunny Harbour would be my incase of emergency contact but I know she's chocca block at the moment. I wouldn't definitely have her list it as a direct rehome though ;)

He said that he just wasn't going to have time for it over the next little while :tired: I was going to grill him more when I saw him and the condition of the kitten as he was on a mobile and there was loads of background noise.

Zoe's right, it is just because you care. Do u know anyone (suitable) who is looking for a kitten? Or are any of your local rescues able to put u in contact with any suitable new homes or put the kitten on their "home from home" list if they can't take her in?

Did you ask the guy what the urgency was with why she needed to go within the hour? Was he being serious?

Well, he said he would text me his address and I'd go round at 7pm, no text and no reply to my text asking for the address so I shall just sit and wait to see if he gets back to me again.

Umm, well, as you know, now and again I check for any urgent cases on the tree site, just in case I can help and up till now nothing has ever come of it and so I ahven't had to deal with the consequences of my actions :evillaugh:

Well, this morning there was an ad saying an 8 week old kitten must go within the hour FTGH :tired: So I sent a text asking if it had been homed and they said it had. Double :tired: Just had a phone call from the person asking if I can go round and see the kitten and possibly take it tonight. I asked if it was urgent and he sort of pussy footed round the issue saying three oter people had been to see the kitten but they weren't right. I've said if he texts me his number I'll go round tonight.

I have no money till Monday, no spare litter tray or litter and next week am moving into a rather small one bed garden flat so this is not very practical at moment! What have I done!? It will need to be rehomed asap once I see what she's like but how have I got myself into this!
