Hi Clare,

I guess there's something about the feel of canvas on claws that's irresistable :), Mum used to let Suzie get away with using one oof her amchairs as a scratching post and, I guess, old habits die hard as the saying goes :). I don't mind as it keeps her from using the chest of draws as she did at first. Isn't it marvellous, I bought an expensive "activity centre" thingy with lots of sisal scrathing post etc. and that gets used only as a seat to look out of bthe bedroom window whilst a cheap five pound effort from Argos gets used as a scratching surface and hammock :), typical !! :).

I'm slowly on the mend thanks hun, I'm still taking the beta blockers and waiting for the hospital treadmill running test thing and the results of the latest blood tests, I'm seeing the doctor again tomorrow morning and see if she's staisfied to start me on the SSRIs. I still get quite tired and still not got my drive and interests back but I'm hoping that the SSRIs will help with that once we can get all these heart tests out of the way. I'm off to seeMum again this afternoon in hospital and tomorrow I have a pretty full day, out in the morning to the doctor, off to see a friend for a short trip out somewhere to cheer her up and then over to the vets to get those 24 tins of senior cat food for Suzie although, without transport, I think i'll have to split it into two journeys as they're pretty heavy to carry on foot the miles and a half rom the vet, also gives me a chance to try her out on a can or two and see if she likes it. Went out this morning and bought another 36 pouches of Whiskas to keep the boys going for a week or so, they definitely eat better than I do LOL. I was feeling a bit depressed yesterday after Alfie's eye flarred up, really thought that we'd sorted that as he hasn't had it in 5 months, really feel sorry for the little fella but I'm delighted to say that it looks much better today and he's not squinting  like he was.

I hope all is well with you and Maxy boy,

Hugs and headbutts from my lot,

Luv Leigh

Hiya,

Yes, best excuse I've ever had for not doing the washing :)

Suzie has already ripped it to shreds down one side using it as a scratching post, she a vertical scratching cat and just loves the feel of canvas on her claws, only a cheap five pound effort from Argos so all in a ll a pretty multi-purpose bit of kit, better than anythiing from a pet shop and a lot cheaper :)

Chers all

Leigh

Who needs to do washing anyway?  :P

Hi folks,

Thought I'd post a couple of pics of Frankie and Alfie's new bed, my laundry basket, Frankie used it first and anything that Frankie does, Alfie does and vice-versa :)

I wanted to do some clothes washing but, hell I've got enough clothes to see me through :)
Cheers

Leigh
