Can't stand workmen!  >:(They're always leaving doors open despite drumming it into their dense heads that ***THEY ARE HOUSE CATS AND DON'T GO OUT!!!***

I know the feeling.

I had to have the plumbers round today coz i had no cold water in bathroom and my lot did nothing but get in the way !

Then the plumbers kept leaving the front door open which was driving me mad (dont allow mine out the front)

Oh yea i know exactly what u mean
none of them have any consideration about leaving the door wide open do they
i always say to them my cats dont go out so can u be "extra" careful with going in n out and leaving the door open

I had a workmen in this morning to fix my ceiling fan which had become wobberly ,the poor man couldnt leave his tools or his screws anywhere with out max ,pickles and flossy trying to steal them lol
at one point pickles ran off with his pencil ,max was on top of the ladder and flossy was batting his screws all over the floor with her paw 
im pleased to say the other 4 all behaved lovely and just sat on the sofa watching him .
