Has anyone ever heard of them or had them?
We have certainly been involved in a right old saga involving a puss called Charlie who appeared as a stray but with an untraceable French microchip and consequently had HQ flapping around in a panic. Poor Charlie now has to spend 6 months in a private cattery in quarantine.
Anyway... the cattery owner says this...
Charlie is doing well and is coming out of himself more and more each
day.
His appetite is good and he enjoys playing with the girls.
The mother of one of our kennel staff is a breeder of Pixiebob cats in
Ireland. Her daughter ***** who works here, thought that Charlie looked
very
much like a Pixiebob so sent a couple of photos to her mother to have a
look
at.
Mrs **** is 100% certain that Charlie is a Pixiebob which is a fairly
rare
breed.
We've never heard of a Pixiebob cat although they do show up on Wiki as an officially unrecognised breed which doesn't show a clear genetic marker.
Charlie looks like a standard tabby mogster to us.
