This is Flash, our latest rescue.  He was taken into our vets with a very nasty wound / abcess on his tail by his owners.  He had been injured in a fight in February too with a huge bite behind one ear.  Our vets discussed neutering but nothing was done and so when Flash was taken back earlier this week with the tail injury his owners decided that it was all too expensive and could our vets put him to sleep.  :censored: :censored: :censored:  He's only just turned 2!! What is wrong with people!

Anyway, he is with us now in isolation pen as he is still poorly but on the mend.  Huge wound on base of tail.  Poor Flash.  All this and in a strange place too.  Still, he seems quite a sweet cat so hopefully he won't be with us long.

BTW, the black mark on his right nostril is black fur, not anything else  :)
