Thank you.

I miss him so much, but I'm now able to think and talk about him without crying. Evenings are hard though...

Thanks for your kind comments.x

Last September I posted for the first time on this forum, in preparation for the arrival of our little black and white kitten, Hugo.

Several times since then I've thought "I ought to give an update", as I would have had many brilliant stories to tell, and many great photos and videos to share.

Unfortunately I never got round to it and now I'm writing with a heavy heart. Our baby was hit by a car and died on Monday night. He wasn't even 9 months old.  :'(

He's been the best cat we could have wished for. He was affectionate, playful, curious. He loved bags and boxes, he purred if we even just talked to him. He was a clever little dude (learnt to unlock his cat flap a few days before he died). He didn't sulk if we went away for a holiday... When we came back he gave us huge cuddles. Everybody who met him loved him, he was so sociable. He didn't destroy anything in our house, and always used his toilet. He loved it when we were outside with him, he thought it was great fun to do gardening with me.

My boyfriend and I are both devastated, we loved him like he was our baby. We will miss him forever. RIP my beautiful cat.

Looking up at the hamsters:

Sleeping on his sofa:

In a bag (as usual)

When he decided to explore the sleeve of my big cardigan and got stuck!
