UPDATE!

Well after speaking to Laura on the CoOp helpline,I recieved a letter today with a £5 voucher in it,£2 more than I paid for the cat food itself, and she's passed my comments onto the department that deals with packaging.Hopefully they will look at the packaging of their products.

Well at least that's something - hopefully they'll take note because I'm sure it won't be just us that find their products confusing.

Janey,

I just phoned the Co not looking compensation (although a refund on the cost of the pack would be nice due to Daisy not going to eat the gravy one's,they wont go to waste tho,I'll give them to the ASSISI pet shelter where Daisy came from.)
and the young lady on the phone,Laura,is going to pass my comments on & is sending me out some vouchers as a 'good will gesture'

I was in the Coop yesterday and looking at their food and have found I have to double check, as my 2 like the terrines and I've often picked up the dog ones because the're all together and they all look the same.

Maybe we should contact them and tell them  :shify:

Co-Op Cat Food.

Well here goes...

RANT ON!!! >:(

Co-Op own brand cat food multi packs......The other day,I went into my local Co on the way home to get Daisy some cat food &,as she like's the Co's own brand,I saw they had the 6 pack's of mixed in for the first time in ages.

So on checking the label to see if they were in Jelly (Daisy wont eat cat food in Gravy!!) I picked up two packs...

One getting home I opened a pack up & then a tin only to find it was in GRAVY!!!

On looking at both the multi packs,the only thing that tells you the difference between the two is;

"Chicken ect in gravy/jelly" ect written in very small letters on the side & a small circle the size of a 5p telling you 'delicious chuncks in gravy/jelly"

BOTH the packs are marked & coloured the same so it's very easy to do what I did, pick up two different packs assuming they are the same. (My glasses were in the car too!)

So I'm now stuck with 5 tins of Co-Op cat food in gravy that I know Daisy wont eat! My point here being how come other pet food makers manage to colour their packs/tins ext so it's easy to distinguish between the types & the Co-Op dont!!

RANT OFF!! And breathe.....Wooooooo Saaahhh....

Regards,

Merv &
