Reasons a cat is sick....

Nope, Janey I'm not. To be honest there's never seemed to be anything wrong with "that end" on her. She just regurgitates a lot, hence me assuming it was stress related. And it's not all the time, just sporadically we'll have a week where she does it every day and then she's normal again for months....odd really. Thanks for the tip.

Glad that the vet didn't find anything too wrong with Sage JS.  Regarding the dry I've said many times that our Timmy was great on Purina one, any type as it has a high rice content - though you can get sensitive.  He mainly suffered a loose tum though and, you may already be using it.

No idea on the food side of things, but glad the vet visit went well and didn't show anything untoward

Well, the vet did a check up. Normal temperature, no sign of any bug....she thinks Sage probably has a bit of a sensitive tummy and has given me some sensitive food to try Madam on.

Soooo - next questions: 1) How do you feed one cat sensitive food but not the others? and 2) Can anyone recommend some reasonably priced dry and wet sensitive stomach foods?

Humans can be sick with nerves and stress so i guess a cat could be mabey

I think they can JS, my friend recently moved house and her cat Harry was sick for the first few days (he is not a cat prone to bringing up food) -he seemed fine in himself and was drinking and asking for food but kept being sick.   He settled OK but we think it was the stress of first packing up the old house and then the move itself so this may be the problem with Sage.

Madam Delicate Tummy is off to the vets Monday. The original question still stands...can a cat make itself so nervous he or she is sick?

Seems to be a mix - some undigested food, but sometimes not. Am watching her over the weekend and taking her to the vets for a check next week, as my partner and I decided better to be safe than sorry.

Poor Sage! Beavis is pukey atm but I am fairly sure its furballs , lets hope its the same for Sage. xx

is she vomiting up undigested food, JS? or mostly liquid? if so, what colour?

I don't think it is fur balls. But she isn't really showing any other symptoms - apart from her eyes getting a bit runny, but she's been diagnosed with allergies so that's likely to be the reason for her eyes.

The Munchkin has been sick several times over the last few days but I think, in his case, its fur balls. He seems to be moulting at the moment. Perhaps its the same with Sage?

Sage has been sick twice today and I'm a little worried about her. (Well, four times, she's always sick then sick again straight after - don't know if that's relevant.)

Could it be all the noise and disruption? Can cats get that stressed they make themselves ill? She's a nervous girl and our new neighbours (who don't actually live there yet so aren't having to deal with any of the noise) have been putting on a new roof and damp proofing.
