I really must get some batteries sorted out for my camera as I missed capturing a hilarious encouter between J & M last night over a tiny piece of prawn. Mosi isn't really into prawns so I gave him a small piece whilst Jaffa had a few whole prawns. He ate that so I gave him a second piece but he wan't so keen on that. When Jaffa discovered this, the most hilarious encounter followed. Picture Jaffa and Mosi sitting opposite each other with a piece of prawn on the carpet just in front of Mosi's paws. He might not have wanted it but he was guarding it. They eyeballed each other for a few minutes then Jaffa, ever so slowly, extended a paw in the hope of swiping it away without Mosi noticing. No chance. Mosi let him get nearly there then headbutted him
Back to stalemate. So once again Jaffa extends the paw but this time so slowly that you could hardly see it move. Stealthily he moved his paw forward, lowering his body as he did so. Eventually he got within a couple of inches of the prawn and then quickly hooked it onto his claw, yanked his paw back and dropped it in front of his own paws. Then he could eat it at his leisure. I was in hysterics and wish I'd caught a video of it. Or at least a pic or 2.
