I was feeding the cats this morning when i had a knock on the door to ask if a cat found up the road was mine. And it was my darling little Sammy.
Later on i was cleaning the kitchen floor and took out the mop bucket to empty it and heard a faint meow. I stood and listened and thought it was coming from next door. I went round through their gate and the meow got louder. As i got to their shed it was apparent that a cat was inside and i recognised the meow as belonging to one of my cats Sugar.
Hubby tried to ring our nieghber as she was not in, but he could get no answer on her mobile. Eventually he got hold of her and she had not been in her shed since last night.
When she got home around 5pm hubby went round and freed poor little sugar from her imprisonment.
She is very croaky from meowing for such a long time and was very hungry so i gave her half a tin of Gourmet Gold then the other half a little later. She is now sleeping and is happy her nightmare is over.
It was breaking my heart hearing her cries from the shed knowing i could not get to her. There was no way of even getting food/water to her. The shed is concrete with a steel door.
