After wrestling the little man it transpires he does have his claw and it's a cut on his pad. No doubt digging for worms caused it. Have cleaned it and will keep a watch on it.

I would just keep an eye on it for now. If it starts to swell or he starts limping then straight off to the vet.

Ok, it appears that Darwin has managed to pull one of his front claws off. (Owww; how he did that and showed no sign I have no idea.) It appears to be sore but other than that fine. What am I supposed to do?!
