Glad to hear she's in a safe place and will get a loving new home if her owners aren't found  :)
Please consider the harder to home cats in rescue.

that's good - her age and appearance are very much in her favour and I suspect she will be snapped up quite soon

The little brown cat aka Daisy (our name for her!) is now with Cats Protection, Nottingham branch.  There was no response at all from anyone to the posters, lost and found websites etc, then cp called to say they had a place for her. Hopefully a new home will be found for her if no-one claims her in the meantime.

The vet didn't know if she's speyed. He said they would know only by operating! There isn't an obvious scar. I've put a poster up in the local news agent and vets. She's also registered with five 'lost and found' websites and the RSPCA. She doesn't look like a typical stray so am hoping her owner will be found soon. We won't be able to keep her as we already have four cats, two of which are strays who have been with us, unclaimed, since last October.

Thanks for looking after her ... she looks very sweet.

Here is a link to the NPR missing cats in Notts .... she's not listed as yet but it's worth keeping an eye on the link to see if she gets listed soon:

She is lovely......well done for taking her in.

Might be a good idea to get some posters up (if you havent already)

So, has she got a home with you if you dont find her owners ???  ;)

she's very pretty, and doesn't look like a stray

did the vet think she had been spayed?

Pretty little brown/grey cat found asleep in our shed, in our stray's bed! She has short fur and greenish eyes. Not microchipped. She is tubby but not prregnant! Don't know if she is speyed. She was wearing a black shiny dogs collar with a tiny silver crown decoration. She is friendly and likes a fuss. The vet thinks she is under 1 year as she is small and her teeth are nice and white!. I've put a paper collar on her but doesn't venture out far. She's on CPLs books now and the vets.
