I have just been looking online at Arden Grange white fish and potato (sensitive) - has anyone tried this?

I tried it for Alice and she wouldn't touch it  :tired: - nor would the others, nor would the 2 tortie sisters that are always on the cadge - If I remember rightly, the hedgehogs didn't complain.

My Bengals have the Arden Grange sensitive mixed with Orijen dry and they all do really well on it (had lots of Bengly Bum problems  before changing to grain free)

Oh I hope it isn't on the way out!!

Thanks very much for all your replies - I have tried him on Royal Canin Persian and RC Sensible but both made him sick (literally within minutes).

There are two Home Bargains near me, both have the tins but not the dry!

Thanks Gillian, I will try Jollyes at the weekend, there is one about 18 miles away but well worth the trip!!  He looks really well on this food.

My two other Persians are not as sensitive as this - Darcy has at various times made off with spring greens, a scotch pancake and a piece of Christmas cake (had to wrestle it off him :evillaugh:) with no ill effects!

Hi-Life seems to be gradually disappearing from lots of places - Tesco no longer stock the little tins

is the firm on the way out, I wonder?

Have you got a Jollye's or Wilkinsons near you? They both have the hi-life dry, usually a good price at Wilkinsons.

Have you tried the Royal Canin Persian food that is designed especially for Persians and their sensitive digestion: http://www.royalcanin.co.uk/my_pet/cat_products/feline_breed_nutrition/persian.aspx

Otherwise something grain free like Acana or Orijen might be worth a try.

Have you got a home bargains near you, I always see the hi-life dry  in there when I go. Be warned though, only take enough money for the cat food as that shop can suck money out of your purse with all the great bargains you can find in there  :evillaugh:

Edit: Too slow!

They sell Hi-Life kibble in Home Bargains, do you have one? According to the website Hi-Life is chicken and maize based, no mention of rice or wheat, so you might look for either a grain free kibble or one containing potato (Orijen, Applaws, Fish4Cats)? You might also read the ingredients on the Pets at Home Purely More Meat which is supposed to be good for sensitive souls?

Hello everyone!!  One of my Persians, Pippin, has suffered from bouts of colitis in the past - thanks to a recommendation on here (thank you Gillian  :) ) I changed him over to Hi-Life, both wet and dry and he has been fab every since!    Anyway my local stockist of Hi-life is not selling it any more, I can get the wet from Sainsburys but can anyone recommend an alternative to the dry food?

From memory I have tried him with  JWB, Royal Canin, Hills and Burns and they all either made him sick or upset the other end!!

Many thanks!
