I know prices do go up but it is scary when things are going up by 20% +
DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

I realised yesterday what has happened, I had ordered the regular version of the senior (Hill's call it active longevity) rather than the light version by mistake - for some reason the bags of light are only 1.5kg but the regular is 2kg bags - they both used to be 2kg bags. It doesn't alter the fact that so many things have gone up in price though.

The worst one was Hill's mature light 1.5kg which was £10.15 in November - it is now £13.44 - this is over 30% increase!  >:(
Annoyingly, the 2kg bags were around £14 and the price went down when they changed to 1.5kg bags - now the price is the same as I used to pay for 2kg.

Other things have also gone up so I am not going to automatically order from them any more as there must be cheaper around.

Other things like Ipakitine have also gone up in price quite a lot.

ETA - I just checked and they have changed the bag size back to 2kg which makes it better but shows that we need to keep an eye on things and not just assume one place will always be cheaper - I checked a couple of other sites and it seems Vet UK are still the cheapest.
This is assuming that Hill's have changed the bag size back to 2kg which I hope they have for that price.

On the bright side, the branch will get a £5 commission for my £100 order  :evillaugh:
