I think I needs to send my secret weapon over.....Gigga always scratches at the flap....It has no chance of freezing over! It must be colder though!  :shify: :hug: :hug:

if it gets very cold I put a cardboard box with end removed around mine which stops it freezing - I spread the flaps out and weight them down with stones to stop it blowing away

Frozen cat flap warning

Just been talking to a friend who says her cat flap froze this morning and a couple of her kitties were sitting shivering on the doorstep when she got back from shopping.  So if you don't already lock yours overnight it would be well worthwhile doing so in this cold weather.
