I have Tosker at the foot of my bed every night, and if I call him or put my hand out he comes charging up for fuss

but when I put my hand back under the duvet he goes back to the bottom of the bed and waits for the next invite

so you have a bit of advanced training to do yet

From food and water dispenser.. to push button cuddle dispenser. My fiance had the great idea a while ago to train the cat to tap you with a paw if she wanted a cuddle (funnily it's me who gets this more than he does for some strange reason). Last night in bed Suki decided lying on top of the duvet, head dangling down between us and bopping me on the nose every 2 minutes for an ear tickle was a good idea. My nose is not a button you silly furball.

Yes I was dumb enough to give in - every single time. Between nose bopping and cat and human snoring (the cat's louder than the human) - no sleep!
