I love EBTs. My partner thinks they're "funny looking." :innocent: Not that we could afford one given the mini zoo.....but if we could I think I'd be finding out as much as possible about Todd. ;)

Thank you. I'm hoping funding at least is forthcoming. Todd is being cared for by small independent rescuers, I think so it's quite a drain financially for them.

Poor lad, He's very handsome! Such devotion to make sure he stays safe and alive! I can't believe how many rescue centres don't operate a policy of healthy dogs/cats not being pts. it's terrifying! How many innocent animals are destroyed everyday?! Makes me sick. I hope you find someone who can give him the loving home he deserves. I have a toddler and a lurcher princess, so i'm unable to offer unfortunately.  :(

Todd, English Bull Terrier, neutered male, vaccinated & micro chipped, estimated 2 to 4 years old. KENT UK

Todd has been with us now for nearly 8 months, we saved him from being put to sleep & have been boarding him in private kennels ever since costing £7.50p a day. Our longest boarder...

We have put out many many appeals for this boy, to find either a NON destruct rescue place, a foster home or a forever home.. to no avail.

Todd has really been through it in his past, he also has dry eye in both eyes & suffers occasionally with his ears.

He is so good & never complains at having his eye drops administered & shows no aggression towards people. However.. he does NOT like other dogs & needs a home where people understand that... this means that you never let him off lead.

Because we have never had him in a foster home (not for want of trying) we do not know what he is like around the house. We would not place him where there are children under the age of 16 as he is a strong boy & could knock a child over.

Can anyone help us to better Todd's quality of life & give him a home or foster home?
If necessary we will continue to help with vet bills & always be there for any advice or assistance.

In the mean time Todd, (although well cared for in kennels) really just needs someone to love him..

We are struggling to keep up with Todd's kennel fees but we will not give up on him & know that somewhere out there is a companion just right for him.

Bless him!

Todd - EBT in URGENT need of help
« Reply #1 on: November 30, 2009, 23:08:06 PM »
Received via email today:

Urgent help needed for Todd, English Bull Terrier. Saved from being put to sleep twice already & currently in kennels costing £7.50p a
day. He also suffers with dry eye & needs permanent medication for this, he also needs ear medication on & off & may need surgery at a later date for a thickened ear canal.

We have run out of funds to help this dog & urgently need help with either donations or a NON DESTRUCT rescue space.

Todd is estimated 18 months - 2 years old, he is neutered & chipped. He is very strong & does NOT like other dogs, he cant be kept in a kennel where he can see or hear other dogs as he will try to work his way out to get to them, thus harming himself & the kennel.
He desperately needs a foster home environment where he can be properly assessed & trained. He is fine with humans & allows his eye meds to be administered no problem.

He has not been cat or child tested, but he has been near a four year old child & showed no reaction as he was interested in other dogs that
he could hear. We do not know weather he is house trained & he is noisy if he can see or hear other dogs.

PLEASE HELP IF YOU CAN.... Todd has shown some progress since we first rescued him & I know in the right place he will come on leaps &
bounds. Thank you & sorry to beg, but how can we let this poor boy down..
PLEASE CONTACT nialllester@hotmail.com IF YOU CAN OFFER A RESCUE SPACE THAT HOMECHECKS STRICTLY AND IS NON DESTRUCT OR CAN OFFER FUNDS TO HELP KEEP THIS BOY UNTIL HE FINDS HIS PLACE
