I know I'm not on here much, but that doesn't mean I am less of a crazy cat person. Rather the opposite!
All is well with littlest Capone. (now re-named ''Smell Bear'' by his new daddy!) I had to take him to the vets a month ago, to have the roots of his 2 canines pulled out.
The insurance didn't cover dental, so I found myself £400 shorter, but with a very happy cat in no pain.
I had taken him for a routine check because he seemed under the weather, and the vet noticed his gums were bright red (for those of you that don't know - two of his canines were knocked out when he was run over by a car) the vet said that the roots of the knocked out teeth were badly infected and that Capone was probably in a lot of discomfort. Very hard to notice because Capone is such a happy-go-lucky cat!
Anyway to cut a long story short, I took him in for surgery. It didn't take him long to recover, and he is back to his usual happy self.
He is still living with me, the bengal lady, and his new daddy.
And tomorrow, it's sadly a year ago since I found baby Jameson in the road. I don't think the pain will ever go away. I was so upset last night thinking about it. It's amazing just how much space our pets take up in our hearts... x
Some pictures of littlest Capone and his girlfriend, Cully.
The slightly blurry picture of Capone sitting up, looking spaced out, was taken when he was fresh out of surgery - still groggy from the GA. His mouth looks all swollen, and he spent ages sitting in the stairs wondering where he was.
