I bought some Tesco finest "skin on" breasts last week to do a roast. When I opened the pack, one was really small so they had made the weight up with a piece of skinless breast  >:( - not good for roasting.

Last year they had made the weight up with a pack of Finest gammon steaks by putting a big lump of fat under one of them. We ate them but I took the piece of fat to the shop and they gave me a refund  :evillaugh:

Well they are not in my good books at the mo, as two weeks ago I got a box of AGAIL from them with maggots in!

Was only given an exchange this time and they have took details as this complaint has been sent to another dept!  :tired:

Another time, phone Purina. I had that a few years ago and they sent me a £10 voucher. It happened again a couple of months ago - well a split pouch anyway. They told me to bin it and sent me a £5 voucher (I washed the other pouches  :shify: )

Both times they told me not to take it back to the shop as it is a health hazard.

You should see what happened to the folks on Dogpages last week .... Tescos mispriced their own brand dog food. Should have been something like £2.90 for 6 but they were scanning at 43p!!!

Soooooooo the folks of DP practically bought every tin they could find with the intention of giving them to rescues. Lots of people managed to get like 120 cans instore with no trouble. Some people ordered online ... The following day Tescos twigged what was going on and put the price back to normal. Those that got early morning deliveries had the cheap price but those that ordered for afternoon got charged full price as Tesco wouldn't honour the cheaper rate. They returned the food back with the drivers. A couple got on the phone to Tesco customer services and managed to get their orders at the cheap rate of 43p for 6 tins.

Just goes to show, a) don't trust the price that you see, b) get complaining  :evillaugh:

This doesn't seem to be shifting very fast in our branch. We went shopping at 6pm yesterday and they were stacked end of aisle at the front of the store and the display looked untouched (until we lightened the load  :evillaugh: ) I forgot to check if they had any more felix fish on offer  :(
