You need treatment from the vets or maybe cheaper thro vet UK but wont deliver that quick.

You need Indorex, RIP Fleas or similiar.they all work and are similiair.

Spray a room leave door shut for an hour and then air

As said dont go with shop bought ones as they are a waste of money and dont work.

I once moved into an infested house, and found it was more cost effective to have a professional come and spray than to DIY tho I didn't try the bombs. Fleas don't only live in carpets, they can hide in cracks in boarded floors, under skirtings etc. There was no odour to the pro stuff and they guaranteed the result, which was handy as the infestation was so bad  they came out three times despite being very thorough (I watched).
:'( My beautiful Noah rescued 13/02/09, adopted 11/10/09, taken 11/02/11 :'( You deserved so much more.

Before I had cat knowledge I bough flea products from pet shops, including a big can of Bob Martins household spray (which cost approx £10 at the time) and flea bombs....Dont even go there hun seriously! They are one big waste of time and money, it cost much more than Indorex and frontline by the time I had used several to try and get rid!  >:(

I now use Indorex and its brilliant....The others will not work  ;)

ok, thanks I'll have a look at those.

Do you know if the bombs work as well as the sprays?

fleabombs or house treatments

My poor departed cat has left us a lovely present...an flea infestation, despite regular flea treatments.

No one else in the house is being bitten but I must be very allergic to the bites as I'm covered in bites which are turning into huge bruises.

Can anyone suggest a good flea treatment for the house?

We have no animals here at the moment so it's just the carpets etc that need treating.

If I use a fleabomb how do I protect my children's toys?  Every room needs doing even the kids bedroom but are the bombs safe to use around baby's toys that are chewed on

Also how many times will I need to use a treatment, I'm aware that the eggs will hatch even after the treatment so do I need to re-do it after a week?

I need to get it sorted asap as I'm suffering so much & we would love to get another cat to love as soon as possible. but need to be flea free before we do.
