Glad it isnt anything sinister, my friends cat had a short course of steroids when her chin went like that, may be worth trying before having to remove it

We saw Emma last night (my vet of choice) and she thinks it was a very bad case of acne, the lump has gone down but not gone completely.

We've finished the course of antibiotics this morning and have stopped the hibiscrub. Going to see what happens now if it flares up again then we're going to try and treat it again, it might be seasonal as Jess had something around this time last year.

If it gets reasonably big or causes him trouble it'll be removed.

Hope it's nothing untoward  I guess it's a good sign that pus was coming out? I know Jess has to be careful with his diet but if he's allowed a few treats you could hand feed him some Whiskas Temptations or Dreamies to try and win him back round and get his trust back

Last week we thought Jess has some acne, so we bathed it and squeezed it, we did get some pus out of it. Over the weekend though it seemed to get bigger and harder it was like a pea sized lump that we could move around. Still looking a bit yellow though.

Took him to the vets on Wednesday, Alice wonders whether his been stung, we've got Nisamox antibiotics and Hibiscrub for a week and we're going back to see Emma (who I *heart* and she knows Jess), if its no better they want to biopsy it.

Talking to our VN and Vet at work, they wonder if its a cyst, Alice didn't seem sure though. They said if my vets want to biopsy it then just get it removed to save on 2 GA's.

Jess is not a happy bunny though, his starting to not trust me with anything, which makes me feel sad  :(
