The foil strip you take off the Purina One bag to open it....The little clear tops that cover kiddies juice bottles, a plasic watch from a luckybag, tin foil rolled up but not so keen if too big hence about 20 of the small ones hiding under the sofa!

Straws .. got into bed last night and had to remove one from under the duvet. Got out of bed this morning and ended up standing on 2 others. He loves them and charges up and downstairs with one in his mouth then he will come find me and dump the straw on me and wait for me to throw it .. then he wrestles with it, jumps on me, drops it etc.
Scrunched up paper is another favourite, but he prefers lottery tickets. I guess it is because they are quite sturdy.
Bottle tops - but the gatorade ones. He even goes so far as to pinch the top off of my bottles (before I've had the chance to finish my drink) and brings it to me to throw.

large plastic cable ties (we have a whole bunch of them all sizes and colours due to my partner's occupation), any objects dangling and swinging from our clothings (strings, plastic fastening piece etc.), pens, rubber erasers...

Straws, corks, bottle tops, any balled up paper, cardboard (in any form).
Mechanical pencils if they can get them.
Paperclips and rubber bands have both been banned from the house. (I swear they have sonar for those things)

The soft piece of flesh between my thumb and index finger is Willow's favourite chew toy

Corks out of wine bottles were always a favourite with Max, and shoelaces. Poot loves shoelaces too, if you're not careful you get a finger full of claws whilst putting your trainers on

I second bottle caps, great toys. Used tissues
Dave particularly loves cotton buds, I on the other hand am not to keen with visions of them going through his soft palate so confiscate if I see he has managed to fins one, he will happily play with one for hours though.

Willow will play with an olive for hours while things like Panic Mouse became redundant within days

Smartie brought in a small piece of wood and plays with it quite often ! Winston also has a piece of wood he plays with in the front garden .
Bungly likes leaves and especially when the blow about , so does FiFi.

Riley looooooves drinking straws, whenever I go to McDonalds I secrete lots in my bag so he has a stash
I hadn't even finished with this one and he was trying to get it! He then carries them round like a dog before munching on them with his teeth, I often find a straw under the duvet in the morning

favourites in our house have always been those plastic thingys which you pull off of tablet containers to open them, they love to flick them round.
Others have been bits of tin foil rolled up and pens

Screwed up receipts....Asteroid things they're the best thing ever and spends hours chasing them if you throw them or just generally going mad around the house with them.

I have spent loads of money on toys for my cats over the years, JO Ripley has loads of toys from Pet Shops, all the normal stuff, Da Bird, Tracks etc etc and his favourite toy is a wine bottle top !!!, he spends hours playing with it
I am sure there are so many cats that find toys in stuff that really isnt supposed to be cat toys.
What is the funniest you have seen ??
