I found Baker's dog food in a 3kg bag of Purina One not so long ago....I both phoned and emailed them, the phone no asked for the batch no of the bag and where Id bought it, email reply said they would send a bag for a 200g sample to be sent back to them!

But of course I ignored the email request....200g sample indeed!  :P

Them on the phone were brill, just posted back about 5 bits and after approx a 2 weeks got £15 worth of vouchers and an apology stating that the machine that packs the cat bics was used at an earlier date for the dog bics, usually they take off the first 5 bags or so as to not have any cross contamination....

Since then Ive had about 4 more bags with them in.....I never bothered getting in touch though!  :tired:

Email now sent with photo enquiring as to what the chunk is and whether it is safe to feed the rest of the bag.

I eventually found the dry food ... they don't advertise it well do they  :scared:

Wish they listed the ingredients rather than just saying 25% chicken, 25% veggies *sigh*

lay me down, let me go, feeling heavy the ground is cold,
lay me down take it slow I'm ready to stumble, sing & then swing low

I didn't know applaws did dry dog food. If they do I would have thought it would be all one colour and brown. The only orange thing in the wet food that is orange is carrot.

Definitely tell them though  :scared:

Do you think I should attach a pic of the offending chunk to the email?

I would - you might well get some free food out of it - and the orange intruder might be something harmful  :sneaky:

I am most of the way through my big bag of Applaws dry food and just found a huge orangey chunk of food in it  :scared: Obviously I removed this from their food bowl when I poured it out but is this a stray piece of Applaws dog food?? Should I email MPM and let them know so they can take more care in future?
