we at the feline network take feral kittens but i'm not sure if any of our fosterers have space, we're a bit full ourselves,  plus we are way down in devon, where are you?

Methinks a new phone number is on the cards..... a pain to let friends and family know but its probably the only way. Then if you do decide to start up a cheap mobile.....

can you set up an answer phone message to say you are no longer in rescue?

that will at least deter a few callers, hopefully

The main problem I have is the rescues giving it out...it will all change soon once I get homes for my last few and then my number will be changed and that will be it then until I decide if/when I start up again.

instruct the vets to stop giving out your number, thast is illegal unless they have your permission

Gill, it's easier said than done...I always feel guilty if I refuse to help    Had a run in with someone the other day, apparently a vets had given her my number, she wanted me to pick a dead cat up and take it to the vets to be disposed of    I get charged for doing this and I'm sorry but I haven't got a bottomless pit and she had the cheek to say everything boiled down to money....funny she didn't offer to pay for the cat herself

The so called rescues that don't deal with ferals apparently and no as yet, I've not managed to get a break from it but am slowly but surely getting my numbers down and this is how I intend it to stay

Who keeps handing out your number? I'd notify anyone who previously did you're taking a break if you haven't already. Poor you. Sorry, I can't really help with feral kittens.

As per usual my number is constantly being given out and I've had phone call after phone call about adult cats/kittens....has anyone got any room for any or know of anyone who has?  I really want to pack doing rescue in but everyone else is making it impossible for me    I hate turning people away but I'm going to have to start putting my foot down as I want out and to get my life sorted    If anyone can help, even if it's just one or two, can they post on this thread or send me a message....I really can't afford to keep doing this any longer and it is causing me mega problems
