Bailey was at the vets this morning and got anotherinjection and 2 for Daddy to do tomorrow - I am in Perthshire having had a fab day out and now Girlie evening

Nicola his current vet advised we are not out of the woods yet but everything positive so far = Bailey and I are back on Monday at 9am for more bloods and to see Scott his original vet tosee the changes - he isnow biting his daddy and being bad boy Bailey Wilson but just not full on but so much better that the prognosis as the beginning of the week.

Vet bill to date is £500 and counting but its only money and beans on toast will be fine for humans cats on the good stuff RC and the rest!

Bailey has been released in the isolation wing of the Clan homestead, he is still on antibiotics and back at the vet tomorrow at 9am but they think he will be happier at home so does the lovely vet nurse he bit this morning when she was holding him to get the drip removed!

We are getting Sunday's injection tomorrow and vets are still cautious but glad that he is a big cat with a great heart

he is currently sleeping and I have the heating on  for him - others are now longlingly hugging radiators to!

Well after day 3 of blood tests vets are cautiously optimistic that Beiley will recover they beleive he has had some major infection that took him down very quickly, he is much happier today but is not a pattient as he is so much a home boy - bailey never leaves the garden and is not coping with a busy vets surgery.

He is still on a drip but had some cat milk and rabbit in gravey sppon fed by me tonight, he is hopefully getting better but we are being very cautious - Vet said to me this morning he did'nt think he would still be alive today he thought he weas so bad

Fortunately Bailey is 6 year and 11 months and is a big cat - 6kgs and has a very healty heart :Luv2:

From this it means Sunny the puopy will keep his bits till September as we aren't sure what Bailey's bill will be - I told the vets to do anything - Robin is wondering how high it will be and will Baileyu break any Clan records!

Bailey is currently on a drip at the vet - Sugar is still high but his temperature is now 1.5 degrees below normal so he will remain an inpatient till we can find out what is wrong with our Bailey boy

had Bailey from the Clan Cats at teh vet this morning as he has been lethargic over Sunday and on getting full bloods looks like he is diabetic, his sugars were high so we are off tomorrow for a curve to be done

I have to say we got the new vet who went and got the partner to explain it all to us, on coming in the partner said oh its ok Liz knows about diabetes her oldie Tiger had it for 2 years, he also advised we do a lot of our own antibiotic and steroid shots when required

We know we said we consider another diabetic cat but thought we would take one on not have one from the clan decide to copy his big bro!

Still on the bright side Bailey weighs in at a helathy 6kgs - he is a big cat and is a domestic - Tiger was a feral diabetic!
