rehoming help?

Fingers crossed the third cat has been rehomed to someone good. I dont think it is that people aren't willing to help, it's just that it is a lot harder to find space for adults - I dont know about other rescues, but we must have about 30 adults looking for homes.

My vet is part of the scheme thank you, and I have spoken to Sue at Averton and Wigan CP too.  I was passed on to her from another rescue.  Apparently Rochdale is my local but Sue is willing to help out as much as possible.  Still needing a home for this one remaining  queen though   Sue said if I can get her and the others they can neuter them all and kittens when they arrive, but I just can't take on three   I was only looking for 1 cat


ETA: the really annoying thing is everyone is willing to help the kittens but not the cats involved.  Apparently its really hard to rehome cats, and therefore they are reluctant to take them.

Sadly there seems to be a real issue in this area at the moment, you were one of three calls for help I got on Saturday, and I know the first person reeled off the list of rescues she had already rang and it was quite scary. Did you manage to find out if your vet was in the neutering scheme I mentioned?

llol, no, but I can see where you got it from.  they were all 8 weeks when rehomed this weekend

Did he rehome the kits at 2weeks of age? 
I hope you can get some help for the 3rd cat

they will help rehome the kittens but did not mention the cat that is remaining with this owner

I know youve been in touch with Desley who helps at Pennine Pen in Hathershaw but have you also tried Oldham Cats? I cant remember the address but its near Middleton if that helps?

Please feel free to move, I am not a rescue, so wasn't sure where to put it.

I am in the greater manchester area, and a complete novice to cats, but I have got my self into a situation that I really feel the need to help.

I was privately adopting a female cat, who has just had kittens, he asked me to wait the two weeks, until kittens were old enough to leave mum.  I have been asking questions  and it came to light that in addition to this cat (2yrs) he has her mum (4yrs) and a 14mth old, who are both pregnant.  I have offered to give a home to the 4 yrs old who is on to her 4 litter, and the 2 yr old I had originall intended to take.

I have contacted a number of rescue who are all willing to take the kittens, CP will be willing to neuter after kits, and once kits are old enough. All but one is not interested in the cat that is stuck.  I just want to find a home for this third cat.  I have told the owner that I have a 'friend' who is willing to rehome her in the hope that a rescue / someone will be able to help.  they  all  seem to be on this cycle of getting pregnant by their current neighbours tom.  Although he is rehoming them all, which I suppose is responsible in a way, I would prefer to see them all rehomed and neutered, and get on with being a pet rather than adding to a problem already at breaking point
