sick 3hrs after a worming tablet ?would it still of worked

i put the stickers that comes with the wormer and flea treatment on the calender the day i do it then i put another lot on the date its next due

I dont remember to write it in the calendar - should write it down somewhere though!!

from now on im using profender (think ive spelt it right lol)
the spot on all in one wormer
bit more expensive but less hassle all round .

I have to admit that I dont always remember every 3 months - yet I remember the monthly Frontline with no probs!!

ah i see.  For the kittens side of things i think personally it does no harm for monthly until they are a year, atleast till they are 6 mnths then every 2 months i'd say then personally if they were indoors i'd go onto every 3 months.  But the advice your vet gave on the printed label can certainly do no harm.

another advantage i think is peeps would prob be more inclined to get into the monthly habit than trying to remember once every 3 months, i know i have forgotten on occasion myself.

I'll carry on the same as you des i think as it seems to work for us.

According to my vet - thought I had posted it on here? I was told in Dec when I asked with Shadow (I didn't know when kitts went from monthly to 3 monthly cos I dont deal with them normally!!), and when I got the girl's Milbemax last month, it is on the printed label from teh vets - it is for human and animal safety - vets say it is only really necessary if you have young kids though, they still do 3 monthly for their own pets, so I shall, I dont have any young kids, and the girls idea of birds are those things they sit and chatter to from the inside!!

i thought it was fair enough to do it every 3 mnths instead of every 6 mnths and definatley monthly for known hunters and possibly even for any outdoor cats but im not sure if monthly is really necessary for an indoor cat that has been done every 3 mnths all its life, interesting though if there was evidence to back if this is necessary or the companies getting more money ???

I will stick to mine getting done evey 3 months i think.

Forever - the guidelines on worming have changed now, the manufacturers are recommending monthly, so once you have figured out why Makosi isn't well, you can worm her again.

mind u i know someone whohas indoor cats and he only delfeas and worms at the start of the spring and at the end of summer
and his cats are all fine

 I would say even indoor cats need regular flea and worm treatment. Obviously you can comb every day and check for fleas or flea dirt, but worms you usually only  see when they are endemic

they say every 3mths they have to have 1
and i didnt want to give another one at the tie incase i overdosed or summit .

3hrs after makosi was sick and brought up some cat food (which we had bought new that day )
would the pill still of worked ?it never come up in the sick
