please wish me luck.

All the luck in the world. I know exactly how you feel when you get calls like this. Perhaps you could suggest to the owner that Cats Protection have vouchers and for Multi cat households (over 6) they can pay the full cost (if necessary)
on the new yellow vouchers. Also please remember Ron that CP branches can now help other reputable feline welfare groups, which I asm sure you would be counted as one.

Wouldn't  it be a shame if the missing ginger boy was handed in to you and you forgot it had been reported missing, unless that is chipped of course.

Does the owner live in an owned flat? If not perhaps a word with the landlord would be the way to go, although I appreciate you would want to be sure in your own mind there was somewhere for the little ones to go.

The other day I had a phone call from a chap saying he had lost his unchipped ginger cat, and he wanted me to come to his House and chip his other cat, i was going to do it today, But first thing this morning he phoned to say his cat had four kittens in the night and that he never new the poor little cat was even pregnant, and now tells me it must have been his Ginger male thats missing that fartherd them witch had not been neutered,  I have since found out that he lives in a one bedroom Flat and has nine cats and kittens all that have not been done, i bit my tung and kept my cool as he wants me to go around on Friday  to see him to chip {one cat} I know i wont keep my call when i go there but I'm hoping to come away with some of the cats if not i will threaten him with the RSPCA i know i will blow my top at him. please wish me luck.

when i put up posters looking for lucifers owners ( if he has some) i stupidly put un-neutered on the poster (i was naive, i thought it would help identify him) and someone called me to ask " hes not our cat but was wondering if he was available to stud, as hes not neutered"   :censored:

after any unneutered tom

Well if any old  unneutered tom is the father the kittens are going to be worth a lot arn't they?

In reality kittens and indeed cats to most  us who post on here are priceless.

There is a small part of me (the unrealistic part) that wishes cats ruled the world...or in fact animals ruled the world...wonder how these  :censored: would feel about being sold  and bartered.

I looked on Preloved the other day and someone was trying to sell non pedigree white kittens for £250 each!
