What a lovely story Karen and what a beauty she has turned into.  My vet reckons that Freddie's fur grew longer as a result of TLC and assume Lollie's fur has done likewise.   :Luv:

She is such a lovely cat, when inside she follows you around the house.  :Luv:  On taking the up to date piccie i was washing up in the kitchen by the hallway door and so she had set herself down in the hall way but when i went to fetch camera she followed me to the living room and then back to the kitchen and set herself back down again.

She did funny things when she first came in too. Like raiding the bin and hiding food even though there was always plenty out. She managed christmas day to open the bin bag get the chicken out but nothing else no other mess and then hidden bits of it all over the kitchen and her pen :Luv2: But thats more to her background i think. She came in off prel***d advertised free her and 4 other cats and her 2 day old kittens  :scared:. Her owner was a old lady who had died. The lady advertising was a friend who had often visited the old lady to check and help with cats as she didnt think the old lady was looking after then (feeding them) properly. Not intentionally just i think she was old. So think thats where Lollie gets her scavaging from. Anyway the lady advertising them had taken them in to find homes for them but was emigrating to japan.  We managed to find homes locally for two as they where all in High Wycombe and i went and fetched Lollie, her 3 kittens and Tara and brought them back to Coventry. That was fun Lollie escaped from her cat carrier while im driving on the M25, she was walking around the car while her kittens were crying for her. Then sat on top of the carrier looking out the back windows at other drivers what they must have thought! Until i managed to pull in to services and climb around the car to get her back in her carrier without her escaping :evillaugh:

Hand up for another failed fosterer, thought I would be clever and take on two three month old semi-ferals....who are now coming up to approx 21 months old!  :innocent:

spot the difference in 6 months!!!!!!
« Reply #1 on: July 08, 2009, 00:09:12 AM »
As ive been trying to get up photos of other cats on here i spotted an old photo of Lollie a foster cat that came in to me in december with  3 2week old kittens and a 6 month old we think was hers from a previous litter. Anyway all the little babies were homed at 9 weeks and shortly after Tara the 6 month old was also rehomed. But other than a lady who turned out to be unsuitable no one had shown any interest in her. Anyway she is such a gorgeous cat so much more affectionate than my own two a few weeks ago we decided we couldnt part from her and decided to adopt her ourselves. As angie put it i failed as a fosterer :evillaugh:
Anyway here are some piccies the before and after i couldnt believe how much she has changed. I must admit i did say to angie the other week if i actually escort her to the vets to get her spayed id be wondering whethershe was preggie or fat but no its just fat well no half is probably fur!! :Luv2:
Piccies in December
