Some of you might remember I was posting here a while ago about Capone's sensitive stomach. He kept throwing up food straight after eating; would mainly happen with wet food, but also with dry food. I didn't know what the problem was, (had assumed he had been wormed) but tried all sorts of new wet food/feeding routines - no luck.
I had lost both my jobs, so had no money to get his jabs started, but recently I've had money coming in again, got the jabs sorted and had him dewormed at the vets about 4 weeks ago - and my sweet baby Owl has not thrown up since!! I'm guessing it was the worm tablets, but could be the injections too; not even the vet could tell me the answer.
Infact, his appetite has increased enormously since he was dewormed and had his jabs, he eats huge portions and not one has come back up yet. He is gaining weight and looks really healthy now; but I am having to keep an eye on him because he's like a hoover in the kitchen and will eat the other cats food as well, so we feed them in separate rooms.
Not sure if it was the worming tablet or the jabs that made his tummy ok again though. What do you think?
