The Mikki mat breaker is good for getting the dead, loose fur out, if thats whats causing the dullness

I have a long haired cat who's fur is a nightmare. I comb her every day with like a metal toothed flea comb. She is always scruffy looking. She is on a good diet but her fur is dull. Can anyone reccomend any good brushes or products? thanks!
