Howard is gorgeous.    :Luv2:

I keep going to the reservoir near me to see the new ducklings but they are late this year, or they were early last year (May).

Mummy ducks make nests in some really dodgy places and then take their babies some even worse places to get to water  :scared: :scared: how they make it i dont know  :Luv2:

DO NOT BREED OR BUY WHILE SHELTER ANIMALS DIE

I believe I am not interested to know whether Vivisection produces results that are profitable to the human race or doesn't. To know that the results are profitable to the race would not remove my hostility to it.  Mark Twain

Emergency vet AGAIN - but with a twist!
« Reply #1 on: June 14, 2009, 17:44:00 PM »
We came home from a nice lunch out today , to find the cats snoozing in the front room. I then heard this weird little 'peep peep peep' noise , and thought to myself uh-oh , what have they bought in now. :tired:

I tracked the noise to the conservatory , and when I went in I found this little fella.........................................

Now the nearest water where there are duckies is about 2 miles away - the little cutie had not a scratch on him , and was feisty to say the least! So , after phoning the vets , off he has gone to his new home with their resident wildlife expert (in Woodstock) to see if he can live with the ducks he already has! :Luv2: :Luv2:
We named him Howard , BTW! ;)
