Just got back from taking Oscar to have his booster and while I was waiting there was a lady who had to have her little dog PTS. She cradled him in her arms and the poor thing looked so sorry for himself that it was undoubtedly the kindest thing. My heart went out to her as she left, breaking down as soon as she got outside the door- how I know that feeling of loss so well myself and however hard you think you are and however much you know you have to do it... nothing prepares you for the loss that follows.
RIP little dog- enjoy life at the bridge. Thinking of his/her owner too
