One of my mums kitties used to have a glue fetish ... she paticularly loved plastic bags with the glue down flaps (the sort of thing that M&S jumpers used to come in).

some glues contain fishy byproducts too - no wonder she gave you a dirty look

perhaps you could offer her licking abilities to the party of your choice at the next general election :evillaugh:

I'm serious.  Opened the letter, put it on the coffee table and went to clean the kitchen.

Came back and she was lying on the table licking the envelope.  Took it off her and she gave me such a dirty look then stropped outside.

Rang the vet, closed for lunch.  Googled it - only found animal byproducts.

Went outside to check on her - she's lying in the sun giving me more dirty looks.  Came back in and asked Purrs peeps - flap over.  Feel better now but she's still not speaking to me!!!  Have to get the treats out.

Gonna clean the bathroom now!!

animal byproducts and glue would suggest hooves. So nothing to worry about ... After all they are designed to be licked ...

:thanks: BC.  I can stop flapping now.

I've just caught Skye licking the seal of an envelope.  Its not the self seal ones but the ones that you lick and stick yourselves.

Googled it and it says that the glue is made of animal by products but doesn't say if its toxic to cats.

Can anyone help.  She was quite miffed that I took it off her and now she's gone outside to sit in the sun!!
