while I agree with the sentiment of this getting rid of places like this doesn't solve the problem a fundamental change in the law is needed - all new drugs have to undergo animal and human trials if the trials aren't carried out in the country they will end up in countries such as China (where lots of pharmaceutical R&D is now going in any case because of the huge numbers of cheaper highly qualified people) which is of course not regulated as carefully as it is in this country - I will probably be roasted for this but I'm just telling it like it is
