Penguin was spayed yesterday, all went well except for her being scared in the cage after the op so i was asked to go and collect her a little earlier than planned.
She was a bit wobbly last night as expected, but ate, drank, and used her litter tray well.
today she's spent mostly sleeping and i've not seen her use the tray but there's poops in there and i suspect one is hers
what i'm a bit baffled about, is that i've just gone upstairs and found a wet patch on the carpet outside my bedroom. My cavalier Lucy suffers with spay incontinence, so sadly, little puddles aren't that unusual in this house
but this one doesn't smell like dog wee
i've also noticed that Penguin has wee on her fur 'round her bum, so i'm not quite sure what's going on with that
i am really, really hoping it's no spay incontinence like Lucy has, wouldn't be impressed , one incontinent animal is enough for anyone.
Has anyone else found an out-of character accident post spaying?
