There are lots of rescues in the Manchester area, but kittens are a bit hit and miss as it is very early in the season. Be very careful with getting a 'free' kitten, as then you will have to pay for the wormer, flea, neutering etc that would be covered otherwise - if you got a female kitten, neutering alone would be more than what the average donation seems to be.
Please spay your cat

Hi Chelsea and  :welcome: to Purrs,

Hope you don't mind but I've changed the colour of yoru post ... Pink was very difficult to read! LOL.

You've definitely come to the right place to get lots and lots of advice and info on getting and furbabe (or 2).

Feel free to ask any questions and we will glady answer ... don't be shy or think any questions are daft or silly.  Everyone has to start somewhere and we pride ourselves on treating all questions with respect.

Allthe best

Sam

Welcome to Purrs.
Well done for wanting to get some more info- people often get more than they bargain for with kittens! hehe.
I would check out Catchat which is Purrs' sister site where you can search for rescue kittens by area.
