Please don't think I was criticising, I was just explaining how we work. I  just don't like to give folks a clue about what I want to know and expect ;D and hopefully if the are not the purrfect home for one or hopefully more of our cats they will fall into my little traps. ;D

Hi Ela
I do ring..and chat.. there are alot more questions that i ask them this is just the basic stuff... and to give them an idea to think about things.. They dont have to use it, there are otehr ways on our website to ring or email.. However, over the weekend i had nine such forms emailed over to me of which five seem to be good and HC are being organised the others we dont have any cats suitable, so have passed onto other branches who can make their minds up..

Its just another way of us working and do what works for us.

Obviously we all have different ideas. I personally prefer people to ring me and I would say in 99.9% of the times I know within the first 6 words if the home is suitable for one of our cats, although at that time  I may not know what type of cat. I like to ask the questions instead of forwarning them as to what I may ask at a later date  as their answer and how they reply says a lot and I can easily tell if they are lying.

Just thought i would pass this on.. But by using our website, i have just started using a Rehoming On line adoption questinnaire and i have to say it seems to work.. I get all the details in a lovely email and then i have facts to hand, so i can ring up and have a chat to discuss..

Of course there are other ways people contact us but at least it stops all the waffle and a good idea of a nice home... Anyhow.. wonder if any other CP bods (esp rehoming) have used a form such as ours (its on our website to download)...

BTW i know there is a wrong digit on tel number. CP IT dept are fixing as i speak
