Shes fine now thanks, didnt go to the vets in the end, it cleared up in two days, my vet is happy with using over the counter drops but obviously if it persisted he said to come in

A word of warning: any ear problem should be checked by a vet before giving any drops as it can cause great problems if theres a real issue within the ear, ouch.

Well I got some otodex ear drops as I couldnt get a vets appointment till tomorrow as stated. Put those in and today shes much much better

Not doing the funny head thing and I can touch the base of her ear and its no where near as painful.

how is she today? other suggestion is maybe she has a cold if she is sneezing too which is affecting her ears because ear/nose/throat are all connected, hope you get her sorted xx

Ear infections are really serious and vet help is needed to clear this. Ctas can be in a lot of pain

With an inner ear infection a sneeze may be enough to cause pain or even make the ear drum pop. If you concerned about the sneezing then I assume that the little one is sneezing a lot? Any other symptoms such as off food, hiding away, quieter than usual, discharge from eyes or nose?

Cats will sneeze to clear dust, etc from their nose just like us.

Does she have a runny nose at all?    Are her eyes watering at all?

Does she keep pawing at her ears?

Might be an ear infection or might have something inside her ear hun I would get her to the vets to be checked out.

One of the cats has suddenly developed a lop sided head which comes after a small sneeze, her ear is obvously sore when touched, but other wise fine and happens a few times a day not all the time


could it  be an inner ear problem?
